Vision of Treasureland
1) Grow the connected (the families of Faith Church) by partnering with families. The home is the number one place of worship for children. Parents are the spirtitual leaders. We value the opportunity to partner with families as Faith Builders!
2) Reach the community. We make Treasureland a fun, safe environment for any child to come and learn about the love Jesus has for him or her. Our lessons are engaging, age appropriate, and meaningful for the world children live in every day!
Treasureland Strategy
The curriculum we utilize in Treasureland is called ReThink. It starts with My First Look in Nursery and Pre Kindergarten and continues with 252 Basics in Elementary! Dawn Gibson, Treasureland Elementary Large Group Supervisor
Dawn collaborates with the gifted Large Group Leaders as they make the scriptures come alive for children in kindergarten through fifth grade. It's a terrific team of volunteers.
Ronda Huisman, Treasureland Director at Cedar Lake Campus
Ronda oversees the entire Treasureland Team at the Cedar Lake Campus. It's a super team of people that bring the love of Christ, Treasureland style, to the Cedar Lake Campus.
Karyn Justice, Treasureland Nursery Directory
Karyn serves with our treasured volunteers in serving children ages birth through two years old. Treasureland Nursery is a safe place for your children to be cared for while you worship!
Marijo Kleinfelder, Treasureland Pre Kindergarten Director
Marijo serves with her fantastic team in ministering to children ages three through five, not yet in Kindergarten. Children sing songs of worship and learn lessons about Jesus that are applicable for their age!
Joyce Koster, KIDS HOPE USA Director
Joyce serves the children in our community as the KIDS HOPE USA Director. She supervises the mentors that meet directly with children in the local school. It's an unbelievable team of people ready to serve and make a difference in the community!
Phil Krygsheld, Children's Ministry Director
Phil works with an amazing team of people that have a passion to serve the children and families of Faith Church. Phil's responsible for overseeing all of the Children's Ministry including Treasureland.
Kim Slager, Treasureland Pre Kindergarten Mini Church Supervisor
Kim coaches and encourages the incredible mini church leaders that bring the message from the Large Group Leaders to the children in Pre Kindergarten. Kim makes sure the activities make a meaningful connection to the children in Treasureland Pre Kindergarten
Nikki VanDam, Treasureland Administrative Assistant and Registration Supervisor
Nikki makes our lives easier by ordering, managing the little details, and keeping everybody connected as the administrative assistant. Nikki also champions the greeting and registration team which is filled with awesome volunteers.
Kim Vanderzee, Treasureland Elementary Director and Mini Church Supervisor
Kim serves as our elementary director for children kindergarten through fifth grade. Amazing volunteers work with Kim as mini church leaders. Kim encourages and coaches these mini church leaders. Her passion to see children connected to Jesus Christ is shared by the incredible volunteers every weekend.
